At Mukilteo, the lady knights held lead over the thunderbirds until late in the 4 quarter when Shorewood’s Lisa Echert tied the the game 52 with a 3 pointer. Shorewood went on to when the game 59 to 56. There was some great defense played on both sides of the court. Click on image for [...]
It was senior night at Mariner High School for the wrestling team as 5 seniors wrestled their last home game. Congratulations to Nikolay Koltsov, Joe Venskus, Austin Parker, Garry Kroshko and Dean Bakeberg. Shorewood girls swim team took the championship this year at the District 1 4A competition help at Marysville-Pilchuck High School on 11.07.2009. Kamiak dominated the first half and Shorewood came back shooting in the second half but to no avail as the game went into 2 barren OT periods with Kamiak’s Tana Foster shutting down the thunderbird shooters and Emma Makela and Hillary Hermes scoring for the knights in the shoot out.
