<p>Luke Frauenholtz of Everett High, who led all scorers with 14 poured in 10 of those points in the first quarter, boosting the Everett Seagulls to a 38-14 halftime lead over the Lynnwood Royals in their WESCO 3A match-up on Friday, January 28th at Everett’s Richer Court. The Royals actually outscored the Seagulls in the second half 29-26 but Everett never trailed, ultimately winning the contest by a score of 64-43. Following this game Everett jumped to 4-8 in conference play, 6-12 overall, while Lynnwood dropped to an in-conference record of 1-12 and 2-16 overall. <strong><em>Click on images for slide show and gallery!</em></strong></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>With Freshman guard  Sidney Rielly leading the way, the Everett Seagulls won their fifth straight  game by beating the Ferndale Golden Eagles 60-39 Dec. 28 on Richer Court in  Everett. The Seagulls, who one just three games last year, are 8-1 (3-1  conference) at  the midway point this  season and remain undefeated at home.</p>
<p>Rielly (team leading 18.8  point average) led the Seagulls with 20 points including one three pointer while  senior Emily Liger  recorded a  double-double by sinking 14 points and pulling down 14 rebounds as well as  blocking for Ferndale shots. <a href="http://www.nwphotoinc.com/website/gallery.php?gid=788" target="_blank"><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-3646" title="Click here for image gallery" src="http://nwphotoinc.com/nwsnews/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/shopping-cart1.jpg" alt="" width="60" height="60" /></a> Sophomore  Kiki Harper (11.7 point average) added with 13 points.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Junior Gabe Woods recorded a double-double scoring 11 points and pulling down  11 rebounds as he led the Everett Seagulls to a 56-48 Wesco 3A win over the Oak  Harbor Wildcats on Richer Court in Everett on December 17. The Seagulls (1-2  conference, 3-4 overall) have won three of four on their home court this season.  Along with Woods, senior Matt Gebert also sank 11 points while senior Lucas  Sontra added with eight points. Michael Washington Jr. (18.3 point average) led  the Wildcats (0-3 conference, 1-5 overall) with a game high 15.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Glacier Peak Grizzlies notched their first victory of the season beating the Everett Seagulls 3-1 in a Wesco 3A match September 28 at the “Grizzly Cave” in Snohomish. While the Grizzlies took the first set 25-21, the Seagulls were able to win the second set 25-23. Glacier Peak rallied to take the final two sets 25-23 and 25-22 for the win. Sophomore Maddi Ober led the Grizzlies with 16 kills and three blocks while senior Emily Liger led Everett with 24 kills. The win puts the Grizzlies (1-0 league, 1-4 overall) into first place of Wesco 3A while the Seagulls fell to 3-2 (0-1 league) for the season.</p>

Juniors Carson Pingrey and John Jaeger each scored during the first half for the Panthers, while senior Zach Crutchfield added with another goal in the second. Senior goalkeeper Cody Melander recorded his fourth shutout of the season as the Panthers improved to 4-0-1 for the season and hold the top spot of the WesCo North.
